Anchor Coupling expands in Menominee

Anchor Coupling in Menominee will be expanding into a next-door building, which means more jobs and more production.

The hose and coupling assembly manufacturer plans to invest more than $9 million and add up to 120 jobs, according to an announcement from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.

The project's been approved by the Michigan Strategic Fund, and will get a $1 million Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant for the expansion.

Anchor Coupling has been in Menominee since 1978 and has been a subsidiary of Caterpillar, Inc., since 1993.
