Classic Auto Collision Center celebrates opening in Kingsford

A new auto collision center is open in Kingsford, serving the Dickinson County area. Classic Auto Collision opened its doors at 1163 S. Carpenter Avenue with a grand opening on December 4.

The name might be familiar to drivers in the rest of the U.P.; owners Scott and Mary Fritz have two other locations, in Escanaba and Marquette. The Fritzs have been in business since 1984 and say they are excited to expand in Dickinson County and northern Wisconsin.

The Kingsford collision center will be managed by Jim Menghini. Ashley Gauthier runs the front office, while the garage employs two body technicians, Steve Mathieu and Coy Carr; two paint technicians, Drew Gendreau and Joe Gustafson; and two detailers, Jordan Gregg and Derrick Lessor.

Classic Auto Collision offers full service in collision repair, and painting using the best current technology. They can work with all local insurance companies and agencies and offer free courtesy vehicles to customers with full coverage insurance.

They'll be open in Kingsford from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays.
