GEI Consultants has a new location in Marquette.
The engineering company, which previously had offices on Washington Street, are now calling the majority of the former Marquette Food Co-op building home. The firm will be taking all of the upstairs to use as offices for its staff, while half the lower level of the building will be used for lab work.
GEI Consultants' focus here in the Upper Peninsula is working with various businesses -- including the local mines -- as well as government agencies.
GEI Consultants is licensed to provide engineering and science services in 47 states, the District of Columbia, and two Canadian Provinces. The company was founded in 1970 and has completed more than 35,000 projects in al 50 states and 25 countries.
