A Marquette County kennel is expanding with a new location planned to open this year.
Pet Sitters Plus has locations in Harvey and Negaunee Township currently, and will be opening a new kennel in Negaunee sometime in 2014, according to an announcement from the owners.
It'll be located at 107 County Road 480 in Negaunee. The announcement from owner Amber Sodergren and her staff says work has been taking place on getting the new kennel ready, although there's no opening date set as of yet.
Founded in 2002, Pet Sitters Plus began as an in-home pet sitting service, but moved into a boarding facility in 2005. The second location in Negaunee Township opened in 2007. Pet Sitters Plus specializes in senior and special needs pets and offers a wide range of kenneling options focusing on comfort.
