Need to quench your thirst and you're in the Iron Mountain area? Consider taking a trek over to Sol Blu and checking out the taproom there.
The bar, which is located at 212 East Ludington Street, has something for every beer lover's tastes. That's because Sol Blu's tap room offers up a variety of small-craft and designer beers that range from those lovely dark stouts to something with a bit more hops to it.
Sol Blu, which is owned by Lee Formolo, Jessie Formolo and Todd Formolo, isn't shy about showing some Upper Peninsula love, either. They carry a variety of U.P.-made brews, including those now being made at the new Upper Hand Brewery, which is based in Escanaba.
Want something more than beer? Sol Blu offers up full bar service, as well as entertainment such as live bands and even a few rounds of the popular Cards Against Humanity game.
