Care Clinic in Marquette adds to staff

The Care Clinic in Marquette has itself a new employee thanks to the recent hiring of Karol Pokley to its staff. 

 

Pokley was hired as the support services coordinator, and her responsibilities are going to include recruiting and scheduling of volunteer coverage at the Care Clinic's locations in both Marquette and Sawyer. She will also be responsible for providing direction and oversight for volunteers as well as assisting in fund-raising events for the Care Clinic. 

 

Pokley is no stranger to volunteer coordination. She recently retired from Marquette General Hospital where she was the director of volunteer services. She has also served on the board for both the Volunteer Coordinators of Marquette County as well as the Michigan Health Care Volunteer Resource Professionals.
