The
Evergreen Living Center, an assisted living home in St. Ignace, has a new director.
John Benedicto comes to St. Ignace from Detroit. He spent the last few years working as the assistant director of nursing at Omni Continuing Care downstate, and will serve as the director of nursing at Evergreen Living Center.
He started his duties in June, and also recently become a certified director through the National Association of Directors of Nursing in Long Term Care.
The 48-bed skilled nursing home is part of the Mackinac Straits Health System and is located at 1140 N. State Street. It serves seniors in St. Ignace and the surrounding area.
