Chippewa County is hiring a deputy clerk, to work in the county's District Court. The position is located in Sault Ste. Marie and is a full-time job. The deputy clerk supports efficiency and operations of the court, including receiving and processing traffic, criminal, civil, landlord-tenant and small claims cases, and other related duties. It is supervised by the court administrator.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Course work in typing, office procedures, computers or related areas
- Two years relevant work experience
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience
