Root 41 opens in Beaver Grove

Why is it I always seem to sit down to write about new restaurants when I've skipped lunch? This time, it's the newly-opened Root 41 in Beaver Grove that has my stomach growling.

The restaurant, which is owned by sisters Sarah and Barbara Tullila, recently opened up shop at its U.S. 41 location, at the former home of The Grove restaurant. The culinary team is Barbara Tullila, Anthony Conrad and Brad Pepin.

The company had a soft opening last week and has plans for a full grand opening come fall.

So what can you expect at Root 41? Breakfast all day, to start, and "classy comfort food paired with exceptional service, quality and value." And what U.P. restaurant would be complete without a Friday fish fry? You can see their entire menu here

The restaurant is open Tuesday through Thursday from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday until 9 p.m. and Sunday until 3 p.m.
