If there is one thing small businesses consistently struggle with, it's communicating with the public and the media. Thankfully, there are folks like Doris Holmstrom around to help with those issues.
Homlstrom is the owner of
WriteUP Editorial Services, based in Gladstone. If her name sounds familiar, it is likely because of her stint as the communications manager for NewPage Corporation in Escanaba. While there, Holmstrom helped launch a daily employee newspaper and a monthly news video.
Holmstrom has over 35 years in the communications industry, both in media and in employee communications.
Her new company "provides excellent editorial services at affordable prices, helping clients represent themselves in print and on screen both professionally and to their best advantage," says Holmstrom, who has a master's degree in English from Northern Michigan University.
