Local artists and crafters sought for Iron Mountain's Harvest on Hughitt

If you’re an artist or a crafter and you’re looking for a chance to showcase some of your wares, then you may want to consider signing up for the Harvest on Hughitt Oktoberfest celebration in Iron Mountain.

The Iron Mountain DDA/Main Street is seeking interested artists and crafters who would like to participate in the annual celebration. The event will take place Oct. 1 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Hughitt Street. The event will include horse drawn carriage rides, pony rides, pumpkin carving/painting, petting zoo, teddy bear parade, sidewalk sales, and a merchant scavenger hunt. Oktoberfest food vendors, beer tent, and live music on the stage will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

"The Iron Mountain DDA/Main Street encourages families to come downtown and celebrate fall at Harvest on Hughitt," says business owner Toni Lori from Bond Decorating. "This event keeps getting better with each passing year."

Artist and crafter vendors are requested to register with the Iron Mountain DDA/Main Street office by email.

There will be a $20 registration fee for all artist and crafter vendors made payable to the Iron Mountain Main Street. Each vendor will be required to provide their own tables and chairs. The last date which vendors will be accepted is Sept. 28 at 4 p.m.
