LP Building Products in Newberry is looking to fill the position of electrical supervisor.
The position, which offers a relocation package, will require the qualified candidate to supervise electrical staff and to coordinate activities of the electrical department, including PLC Programmers, E & I Technicians, diagnose equipment failures and repair problems as they arise. You will also coordinate all activities in the electrical department regarding preventive and predictive electrical maintenance, installations and modifications. Must ensure all electrical equipment is maintained in safe, efficient operating condition.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required; Vocational or Associates Degree in related field (electrical) preferred
- Michigan Master’s Electrician License required or must qualify to take the Master’s License exam
- 5-8 years of industrial electrical experience required
- 3-plus years of supervisory experience required
- Completion of basic PLC training and working knowledge of basic PLC functionality.
- Knowledge of electrical functions.
- Knowledge of equipment and tools.
- Time management and prioritizing skills.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring and circuit diagrams.
- Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.
